Beef & Boards Dinner Cruise
It was a beautiful evening on Tuesday, August 11 as John & Mary Ann M and Bob & Pam G. put together a cruise for dinner and a show for club members. Some took the “Tail of the Lizard” up the back roads from Brownsburg and others just met at the Beef & Boards. The musical that was performed “Smoke on the Mountain” was about the Mt. Pleasant church in Silor City, NC circa 1945. So much comedy and many gospel songs were performed. The evening started with a buffet of sliced roast beef, baked chicken, beef stroganoff, plus all the side dishes and salad. Great meal and really “Great” show. The highlight of the night though, may have been watching four seasoned Corvette owners put the removable top back on Bob G’s car. Now that was entertaining. Also in attendence were Deana and Ron M, Jeri & Lou G, Sharon and Jim L, Rita and Rich R, Debbie and Doug G, Millicent M, Eva Y, Susie H, Terry S, and Patsy and Bob W. It was a very enjoyable evening with great friends. A Special Thanks to Bob, Pam, John and Mary Ann for a great evening!
