Before the meeting in December members were sent emails and asked to bring unwrapped toys to the meeting for the club to donate to the WRTV6 “Toys for Tots”. Twelve Corvettes signed up to make the trip to the deliver the toys on the “Circle” in downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, December 12th, The day turned out to be a beautiful sunny day but also the coldest day of the year. The Vettes met at the Auto Vault parking lot to distribute the toys among the cars. There was over one thousand dollars worth of toys collected. The Convertibles in the group decided tops down was the way to make the trip in style. The Corvettes were met by the channel 6 weatherman Kevin Gregory. After the drop off the members headed to the Milano Inn for lunch and conversation. Thank you to all members who brought toys to the meeting and to event chair. John M., chair of this event.
