Veterans Day Parade – Indianapolis, IN
It was a chilly but clear day for the annual Veterans Day Parade held in downtown Indianapolis. The AutoVault on N. Illinois St. was the meeting place for the club cars. Twelve Corvettes arrived ready to caravan to the parade staging area on Fort Wayne Avenue located next to the historic Elbow Room in one of the few remaining flat iron buildings left in Indy. Corvettes from multiple area clubs arrived to make the final count of forty-one Corvettes. After a long wait and a lot of visiting the time finally came for the group to head out on the parade route. At the end of the parade the majority of the participants drove to Rick’s Boatyard Café for a great lunch. Thank you to the following members who took the time to show their support for our Troops and Veterans. Eva & Allan, Pat & Shan, John & MaryAnn, Roger & niece Dawn, Bruce & Janet, Tony, Bob, Dave & Debbie, Ben & Barb, Bryan & Janet, Gil & Joyce, and Jim & Sharon. A Special Thank You to Eva for coordinating this great event for the club.
