Fall Festival Parade – Zionsville, IN

The day was perfect for a Parade even though it was a little on the cool side and members had plenty of time to visit before the start of the parade. The crowd was the same as last year when the weather was on the rainy side. Several members had brought their “Mickey” gloves which was a huge hit with the little kids. Bob and Patsy remembered their Mickey & Minnie ears from the club picnic in August so they were extremely popular. Again this year as in years passed one of the spectators was a WWII veteran with the D-Day 35 15th Ordinance who we always look for each year. We thank him for his service. After winding our way through the parade we play follow the leader and head out to the Stone Creek Dining Company for lunch. The food was excellent, conversation varied widely and once everyone was full, it was time to head home. Thank you to the members who came out to support the club and the Zionsville Parade and sent pictures. A Special Thank you to Sam & Diane for organizing this again this year.
